The Werk*

Joshua’s effort span various organizations and platforms with the primary goal of amplifying marginalized voices and creating community through powerful communications strategy and storytelling.

Using his specific skillsets, he’s created new werk or revived existing/ongoing projects to amplify the voices of those who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, rural residing, etc.

(Joshua intentionally uses werk in replacement of work to both memorialize his late friend, artist/teacher/choreographer Marcus R. White and to incorporate queer cultural nods/norms.)
